Bound by Honey- Jamie Dalton ; A review

*This is set to be the last book in the Starry Kingdom of the Fae series. This romantic fantasy is a must read if you love low stakes fantasy. It is set to release on August 11, 2023.

First thing first, babes, go to the back of the book, check out the coffee recipe, make it. (It’s pretty easy honestly) Enjoy it and this lovely book.

Bound by Honey:

The story follows Sage, a young woman who loves books and helping others so much it might just be her biggest fault. We start off with her learning that she suddenly needs to find a place to live so her father can pursue a dream career on another part of the content. Determined not to be the reason he turns it down, she assures her family that she’ll find a place before they have to leave.

During this journey of navigating her new found independence our lovable librarian finds herself meshed between not two but four men. Each of the charming four (as they’ve been named by the townspeople) have their own unique personalities. Sage finds herself becoming friends and well, maybe more with the men as she helps them in exchange for a place to live.

Her main goal in staying with them? Curing the curse that is slowly taking root in one of our Charming Four, before it's too late. Leading Sage down the rabbit hole of research on medicinal practices and magic in hopes of finding the cure.

This novel was full of ups and downs and the characters were down right loveable, even when they weren’t. This novel has the why choose vibes we all love without actually being a why choose story.

The one thing about this novel that I did find a bit frustrating is that it seems as if the story is left unfinished in my opinion. (I won’t go into too much detail, I wouldn't want to spoil it for you!) Still I give this a solid 4/5 stars and a 0/5 on the spice meter. The writing was done well, the main characters were likeable and relatable (I do think some improvements could have been made but overall they were good), and it just made me want to read more about these characters within her world. Hopefully we'll get a bit more about these amazing heroes.
